Great honor for Alphonso Davies: The outer chest of FC Bayern Munich was awarded “Concacaf Player of the Year”.
The Canadian national player was the first player of his country the award of the football confederation of North and Central America as well as the Caribbean. In addition to coaches and players, the 41 member associations also involved media representatives and fans in the vote.
“I am happy to get this award,” Davies said about his honor and referred to the great competition: “The Concacaf level is high, there is a lot of passion in the square.”
At the same time, Davies anticipating the World Cup: “We are happy that we can participate in the World Cup.”

Canada has once again qualified for a World Cup for another 36 years. Davies, however, could not participate in the crucial games in the qualification, but the wing float pauses due to a heart muscle inflammation since the beginning of the year.
