Raul Bobadilla dares a new adventure. The former Bundesliga goalkeeper has joined the Swiss second division FC Schaffhausen.

As the current table runt informed the Swiss Challenge League on his website, the requested but not yet issued, work permit is a first use of the 34-year-old.

Bobadilla was under contract from 2009 to 2012 as well as in the 2017/18 season for Borussia Mönchengladbach, and he wore the jersey of FC Augsburg between 2013 and 2017.

Most recently, the native Argentinian, who played eleven international matches for Paraguay, played for Club Gurani in Paraguay. His commitment in Schaffhausen is not his first station in Switzerland. Bobadilla previously ran for the Grasshoppers from Zurich, the Young Boys from Bern and the FC Basel, with which he became Swiss master twice.
